Department of ECE, musaliar college of engineering, Pathanamthitta conducted a two day national workshop and exhibition on' Artificial Intelligence Robotics' Jointly organized by Acharya Labs Delhi and IIT Kanpur in association with IEEE Chapter on 22nd and 23rd Feb 2019.The workshop was inaugurated by Shri M S LOBO,State Head, Shasra Electronics Pvt Ltd , Kinfra Industrial Park.
IEDC conducted a 1-day workshop on “Introduction to Arduino Kit” on 16th Marc 2019. The session was handled by Dr.Felix Philip, Associate Professor Department of Electronics & Communication. The session commenced by discussing types & basics of Arduino and This was followed by a hands-on session using Arduino Uno.
An FDP on Digital Design & Emerging Trends in VLSI at Musaliar College of Engineering and Technology, Pathanamthitta was approved by KTU and was conducted successfully by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering during 18 to 20 December 2018.

A Three-day faculty development programme on “IMPLEMENTATION OF VIRTUAL INSTRUMENTATION IN CONTROL, ROBOTICS AND MECHATRONICS”was held at Musaliar College of Engineering and Technology, organized by Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, sponsored by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University from 16/01/2019 to 18/01/2019. The objective of the FDP was to give an opportunity to faculty members to enrich their teaching skills andattain the basic ideas of Virtual Instrumentation and the Hands on training was included so as to providenecessary background in LabVIEW. The course was structured to give theoretical background and hands-on experience to solve manytechnical and real world problems in a fraction of the time. The FDP was attended by participants from various Engineering colleges under the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
