1. SECURE AND INNOVATIVE METHOD OF LPG GAS SUPPLY AND EFFICIENT WASTE DISPOSAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM THROUGH METRO RAIL
A novel concept of secure traffic free domestic LPG supply and efficient waste disposal system using Cochin metro rail system is proposed in this project.
2. HAND HELD FOOD TESTING SYSTEM
Here, we suggest a new idea to make a Hand held food testing system. This may be simply like a pen, box or mobile phone which can check the food instantly and make decision with the help of some predefined look up tables and information.
3. SMART INVIGILATOR
This project aims to prevent malpractices during examinations. It is a pair of eye glasses which senses the eye movement and anxiety of the student and finds if any malpractice is being carried out by the students during examinations and informs the authorities about any malpractice being done.
4. DESK LESS COMPUTING
This is an innovative idea where we can use our palm as keyboard and mouse of the computer at any place, anytime.
5. PASSWORD BASED CIRCUIT BREAKER
This is a novel idea to avoid accidental death of line men at work due to electric shock.
6. INTELLIGENT TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
This project can assist the police in catching the traffic rules’ violators by checking the speed of their vehicle and necessary documents.
NWOR’15: THREE DAYS NATIONAL WORKSHOP ON MATLAB WITH ROBOTICS
A national level workshop on ‘Matlab with Robotics’ was organized by Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering in connection with IEEE. The event was powered by Acharayji Technologies Delhi. The first day started with an official inauguration of the event by Prof.Muhammed Kasim,Chairman IEEE ,SAC,Kerala chapter.The robotics classes’ started with the basics of microcontrollers, and its uses in the robotics field. The second day concentrated on giving hands on experience, using kits, programming the microcontroller etc. Third day the participants themselves developed different robots like line follower, edge detector,colour detector etc. In overall, the program was very informative and got wonderful feedback from the participants.
I-ROBOTRICKS: 2 DAYS NATIONAL ROBOTICS CHAMPION SHIP
A national level robotics workshop cum championship was organized at Musaliar College of Engineering & Technology, Pathanamthitta. The event was powered by Robospiens,India & TRYST,IIT Delhi.The event lasted for 2 days. The first day started with an official inauguration of the event by our principal, Dr.V V Karunakaran. The workshop ended with a championship, which was actually the preliminary rounds of Robotryst-2013; and the winners got a chance to participate in the finals at IIT, Delhi. In overall, the program was informative and worthy.
5 DAYS NATIONAL WORKSHOP ON EMBEDDED PROTOTYPING: AN INTERNET OF THINGS
A national level 4 days workshop on Embedded Technology;Rapid Prototyping:An Internet of Things was organised by Department of ECE from 3rd TO 6th Feb.2014 inconnection with Transiot System Developers,Cochin.It was a wonderful platform for the PG students all over India for developing innovative embedded projects.
