Hostel

              

 

            An ideal hostel must be, in essence, a home away from home. A congenial living atmosphere contributes a lot to the academic performance of a superior quality. Ample hostel facilities are offered within the Campus of Musaliar College. There are separate hostels in very beautiful and healthy locations to accommodate men and women students and managed very hygienically. The hostel facilities in our campus are so designed as to provide a sense of belonging, security and care as well as a spirit of independence, within reasonable limits. Consequently, the students enjoy their campus life, and they have no reason to be nostalgic.Both the hostels have very spacious rooms which provide comfortable and conductive atmosphere.

           The overall administration and control of the Hostels shall be vested in the Director and Chief Warden. Each hostel has a Warden, and Resident Tutors.

           The men's hostel has 120 rooms and can accommodate about 400 students. The ladies hostel has 25 rooms which can accommodate about 100 students. The hostels provide good food at very reasonable rates, as the mess is managed by the students and mess supervisors, following a dividing system.  They have all kinds of recreational amenities like TV, telephone, indoor and outdoor games. Another added attraction is round-the-clock power and water supply.

Hostel facility in the campus is provided for girls and boys coming from distant places on application by parents. Admission to hostels is for one year renewable every year at the discretion of the Director. Wholesome foods with vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes are provided and food is supplied to the students during religious fasting.
